I've been doing networks for a long time and never saw this issue until about a year ago, and last week it even happened for a new current gen server my team installed. Really not impressed with newer network adaptors.

You think these rogue AI intrusions are bad now? So far it's been the equivalent of unauthorized 'Read' access. Soon, it will be unauthorized 'Write' access, and then chaos will really kick us in the teeth. Leaks are bad, but changing our data will be far worse.

And it's exhausting. The articles often have good info, but the now recognizable style and tone is long, overly wordy, with shorter sentences and a clipped tone. And no matter who's posted the articles, in news, blogs, etc, they all feel like they were written by a first year English major.

I've been reading all my life. I'm comfortable with thousands of writing styles. Lately tho I've sensing a common new pattern of structure in writing, for now mostly in articles, and it's all the same, but by different writers... And I'm calling it, more independent writers are now using LLMs.

Granted these servers need a lot of ram, and I have no idea what AI blades are speced at, but I'm under the impression the AI models need a lot.

Example, a recent order had the GPUs at nearly half what the ram alone cost, and flash storage costs were double the ram. Meanwhile CPU prices have not moved much in the last year at our level.

Not sure if you factored in the inflated costs of flash high speed storage and RAM, which are now nearly as expensive as the GPUs. Given what servers my company orders today cost, and how that cost is broken down, it's a question on my mind when I ponder your numbers.
