Is it though? Plaid's always been a strong 2nd in the Senedd constituency in Caerphilly. Its run the council twice in the past and is in opposition there with councillors concentrated in the constituency itself. This isn't the bellwether it's being made out to be - we still need tactical voting.

A very extensive report of the Visitor Levy that makes no mention at all of the fact I've done a load of economic modelling on its likely economic impacts for Welsh Government, looking at high mid and low impact scenarios, including 'ripple effects', and impacts are... minimal.

This is an interesting proposal. With the right regulatory reform that Labour is pushing through, the investment in modular reactors will rapidly return profit. It would be a good social investment for the area too.

Very hard to disagree with this sentiment. UK Labour is giving me huge concerns over its position on HS2, Crown Estate and Steel. Wales appears to be second class at every turn and it challenges my ability to represent the party.

Is it unprecedented? Sydenham had a similar incident in 2008. I arrived to take over the substation for refurb after 72hrs and it was still smouldering. Thousands of homes were out of power. Transformers are terrible when they go.
