The Big Fucked Up Bill, is NOT a spending bill. It’s a government restructuring bill, that consolidates power in the executive, defunds critical services to the point of absurdity, removes the power of our courts to enforce the law and dramatically curtails voting rights. It’s Project 2025

Privatisation in a nutshell: Steal from us something we own. Sell us back an inferior service at a higher price. The pattern is the same everywhere: water, railways, the NHS, public services, council services… @mrjamesob.bsky.social

New wind and solar power in the UK costs £41–£55 per megawatt-hour, while new gas power costs £77–£124 per megawatt-hour. Fossil fuels get £9–£12 billion a year in UK subsidies, compared to £3–£7 billion for renewables. So, renewables are both cheaper and less subsidised than fossil fuels.

Reform has accepted major donations from fossil fuel-linked individuals and companies. Over 92% of its funding since 2019 comes from high-polluting sectors. The party seeks oil/gas industry donors and its policies-expanding extraction and scrapping net zero-closely align with fossil fuel interests.

Only all black holes are likely spinning hence there's probably nothing in the centre of a blackhole, certainly no gravity (as the case with centre of any celestial object). I'm told the singularity is a ring spinning at near light speed with literally nothing in the centre.
