Today is the Spring Equinox. You made it! The entire Earth gets the same amount of daylight – about 12 hours. A few other neat things: ☀️ The Sun rises exactly East 🌅 The Sun sets exactly West 🌎 The Sun is directly above the Equator at Solar Noon (if you were there, you'd see no shadows!)

Around this time of year, the Double Cluster in Perseus (NCG884 and MGC869) are very visible and are absolutely gorgeous. Even in the #montreal light pollution and an almost full moon, are immune from being blocked out. Taken by one of our members #astrophotography details in the alt text
