the perfect weather to curl up with a good book 📚🍂 #AedRaha #wolgraha (pose reference posted below ⬇️)

An edited gpose of my wolgraha ship. Aedric, my elezen WoL, is reading a book on the couch while G'raha leans over the arm of the couch to kiss him on the forehead. G'raha is pressing another book to Aedric's chest while he does, perhaps his own reading materials that's been temporarily paused in order to kiss his lover in a soft gesture. Aedric is smiling as his chin is cupped by G'raha's hand.

If you think an artist's style looks like AI but you can scroll back through their portfolio and see them doing the same work before 2020, congrats, you're not looking at an AI grifter. You're looking at one of the original victims whose entire style AI stole.

#OC_Tober Day 2 (Fire): Every October, I like to spend the month drawing other people's OCs. This year I'm incorporating a "five elements" (Wuxing) theme. Today's random OC winner from the fire element group belongs to @lumeriadeborel.bsky.social! 🎨 🫶

Digitally drawn portrait of a dark-haired miqo'te woman wearing colorful pictomancer garb as seen in FFXIV with hydrangea flowers in her hair and holding a pictomancer palette.
The character is shown on a white-bordered card-like layout, with a orange fire icon symbolizing the Wuxing element "Fire" and an orange background. The character's name "Lumeria Ixchel de Borel" is written in white lettering at the top of the card.

Fanart of Hegemony from FFXIV'S Pandaemonium raids in the Endwalker Expansion, referenced and inspired by the lovely render of her model by
@sundownageha! A woman with a short pinkish bob, bright deranged green eyes and pale skin with green veiny markings in a dull greenish black robe. She is sitting in the air, held aloft by tentacle & claw-like wings that are wrapped around her chest like the roots of a plant.

It is a little disconcerting that so many people who know a lot about LLMs on a technical level appear to go a little insane. It would be like if there was a really cool and effective new kind of pen, and for some reason about 40% of the people involved in the pen making process went mad.

Some of you have forgotten that only three years ago you were perfectly capable of writing an essay, writing a eulogy, telling a bedtime story to a child, and it should worry you that powerful companies have convinced us we can’t do things we’ve been doing for 5,000 years.

There is literally no piece of media in existence that is genuinely flawless, everything you enjoy is worthy of criticism, and if you truly love something, you'll also acknowledge those flaws. By doing so, you increase the chance of new things being made that are even better and address those flaws.

If you're a fan of a big media property, a really dedicated and invested fan, you have to learn to respond to criticism of that thing in a calm and reasonable manner rather than as a personal attack. In fact, you should learn to do the criticism yourself, without feeling embarrassed for liking it.
