4/4 📷 Verify and document. The integrated QC station enables visual verification and step-by-step documentation of captured material. ✅ Because in #LCM, confidence comes not only from what you select, but from knowing what was actually captured.
010
RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
3/4 🧫 Prepare flexibly: FFPE, fresh-frozen, fluorescent, stained or unstained samples, thin or thick sections. 🧩 Choose the slide format that fits your workflow: plain glass, glass/frame membrane slides, or Petri dishes for live-cell work.

2/4 👉 That is the idea behind #AccuvaCellect: Cut. Capture. Verify. ⚡ Cut: fast, precise UV cutting. 🎯 Capture: gentle IR capture for selected ROIs, with or without prior cutting.
110
RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 02/09/2026
1/4 #LaserCaptureMicrodissection enables the isolation of selected cells or tissue regions for downstream analysis. But selection is only part of the workflow. The key question: can you verify that the selected material was actually captured?

RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 27/08/2026
2/3 ⚙️For Deep-UV #microscopy, the relevant light path needs to be modified with suitable UV-transmitting optics and paired with appropriate objectives. 👉At RAPP, we are uniquely positioned to modify new microscopes and retrofit existing systems to make them suitable for transmission down to 190 nm.
110
RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 27/08/2026
1/3 🔬 X 🟣 = ⁉️ Can your #microscope handle Deep-UV? Standard microscope optics and objectives are usually not designed to transmit light below approx. 330 nm. That means that even if a Deep-UV source is available, the microscope itself may limit what actually reaches the sample.

3/5 🔬 X 🔴 = 🌡️ The authors combine confocal imaging with localized IR laser heating to perturb PFKL glucosomes in living HeLa cells with subcellular precision. Glucosomes dissolve upon heating and re-form after cooling, even when glucosome mobility is strongly reduced under osmotic stress.
111
RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
2/5 💡PFKL catalyzes the rate-limiting step of #glycolysis. Glucosomes are membraneless multienzyme assemblies that may help direct glucose flux between energy production and biosynthetic pathways; especially relevant in highly proliferative cells where glucose metabolism is often rewired.

RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 19/08/2026
2/3 Today, light can do more than reveal structures and processes. 👉 Use light to perturb, stimulate, modify or locally control what happens inside a sample with spatial and temporal precision.

RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 19/08/2026
1/3 🔬 In #microscopy, the mantra has long been: seeing is believing. Much of modern #bioimaging has pushed resolution, sensitivity and speed. ⚡ But microscopy can go beyond observation.

3/3 The series includes: 🎯 AiWon: high-power point spot 🔷 AiWon Geo: shaped ROIs without scanning ⚡ AiWon Caliburn: pulsed-laser ablation, microdissection & DNA damage ➡️ Different applications. Different light sources. One modular platform.
010
RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 04/08/2026
2/3 💡 That’s the idea behind AiWon: modular fixed-spot photomanipulation. 🔬 AiWon integrates into the fluorescence beam path without modifying the microscope. Illumination stays fixed in the FOV center, while the sample is positioned by moving the stage.
110
RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 04/08/2026
1/3 👉 Not every #photomanipulation experiment needs rapid beam positioning or simultaneous illumination of multiple areas. For many workflows, local light delivery in the center of the FOV is exactly what is needed.
111
RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 30/07/2026
3/3 🧩 In RAPP fashion, Holo4D is a flexible add-on for (advanced) microscope platforms incl. Sutter MOM, MIMMS & BOB. ⚙️ Automated 2D/3D calibration, SysCon, ScanImage handshaking and device integration help connect #photomanipulation to complex experiments.
010
RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 30/07/2026
2/3 ⚡ Especially relevant for investigating neural circuits, cellular interactions, and dynamic biological processes where the position, timing, and pattern of stimulation matter. 🌈 Holo4D’s SLM functions across a wide range of wavelengths providing ample experimental flexibility.
110
RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 30/07/2026
1/3 💡 What if #photostimulation could match the 3D structure of your sample? Holo4D uses SLM-based holographic beam shaping to project defined light patterns onto selected cells or clusters, bridging #multiphoton imaging with targeted 3D stimulation.
111
RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 28/07/2026
2/2 🔥 This is where biology meets physics. 🎯 Using IR light near a strong water-absorption band, heat can be induced locally and on demand: where and when it is needed during #LiveCellImaging. ✅Useful for #thermogenetics, heat-shock responses, cytoskeleton dynamics, motor proteins & #biophysics.
010
RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 28/07/2026
1/2 🌡️ What if temperature control became your next #photomanipulation tool? Temperature plays a central role in biology. It can influence protein activity, molecular interactions, reaction rates, and cellular behavior. 🔍 Many questions need more precision than whole-sample heating can provide.
111
RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 23/07/2026
3/3 ⚡ At RAPP, we help combine 2P imaging with #photostimulation, #optogenetics and #photomanipulation. 🧠 Use it for in vivo/in vitro 2P whole-cell/intracellular imaging, or calcium activity. Typical samples are cultured cells, brain slices, organoids, and even zebrafish.

RAPP OptoElectronic @rappopto.bsky.social · 23/07/2026
2/3 🧩 DF-Scope® keeps the BX51WI platform in place and allows photostimulation light sources to be added directly into the main scanned laser path. 💡 That means experiments can move beyond #bioimaging toward active optical interaction with the sample.
