Kamiina Botan has the movie taste of an infant but refined sensibilities for literature and music. You say she's a layered woman who contains multitudes, I say she uses that range to seduce all sorts of women

🧜🏻‍♀️✨🐟 Been watching Sayonara Lara lately and you should too!! I wanted to paint the part at the beginning where she's getting thrown out of the ocean :') I'm so sad there's only one more episode #goodbyelara #sayonaralara #art

An illustration of Lara from "Sayonara Lara" being lifted out of the ocean on a series of waves. Lara is a mermaid with a red tail and long red hair styled in a braid. The scene takes place at night, with lots of stars sparkling in the background and the bright yellow and pink moon illuminating her from behind. There is a brightly colored starburst shape in the sky, representing the "light" within Lara.

Hmm you're right. Apparently he's right-handed only in BotW/TotK, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.

Ranveld @ranveld.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Also you should know Link is a left-handed king in this one.

Ranveld @ranveld.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Timing is unfortunate too IMO because we have a season of mocking overly realistic AI-generated/DLSS5 clips and we're kind of tired of focusing on high fidelity in AAA too much but Nintendo doesn't care, in context of their games it's more fresh.

Ranveld @ranveld.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

I don't think it looks that bad. I think they should tone down effects like wetness and bump maps (first impression of creepy and wet Kakariko Village is overwhelming) and Link's designs are overengineered but when I saw a mash-up of colorful locations and action in the trailer it's quite charming.

A DQB to taki... Minecraft z historyjką, mechaniką "oceny" tego, co się buduje, oraz NPCami, dla których się buduje.

After watching a behind the scenes of Jaadugar, there were two main subjects that shook me to my core. 1) The team traveled to Mongolia to learn as much as they could about the culture & setting and 2) The importance of drawings, pen on paper. The love, care, and attention is absolutely outstanding!

Sayonara Lara has been an amazing outlet for debuting storyboarders & episode directors, with #06 being the turn for Kinema regular Asuka Kosato. The way they slot into the overall rhythm and build into the overarching motifs suggests very close, effective supervision by Koide as the series director

The understandable obsession with her goal makes Lara miss other types of love, even the warmth of a supportive, fulfilling workplace. Intending to say goodbye, she takes photos of a terribly cold-looking place, but everyone's arrival gradually reveals that bright, happy colors had always been there

Wrote about Jaadugar's incredible dedication to cultural accuracy, but how rather than trapping itself in the constraints of objective reality, it thrives in the gaps between factual history and compelling lies. A gorgeous, unique production worth exploring blog.sakugabooru.com/2026/08/07/j...

Also it kinda doesn't sit with me that this life seems to be framed as carefree, cool and "rad as fuck" anyway. The series gave me some food for thought but I'm rather negative about it.

Ranveld @ranveld.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Yeah, it clashes with the opulence of hot smoking anime women or characters that cause "I can fix her" reaction at most, which is alright. Like I said in the other comment weebs could use some repulsive art too for once. But aside of that it's just a toilet humor with junkies so eh.
