Overdue reminder: If you want me to include you in one of the musician starter packs, PLEASE SAY SO! There are so many likes and follows coming in, that it is extremely likely that you will get lost in the shuffle! I won't bite, I promise! That one time wasn't my fault...

Hey, note to new follows: We didn't follow you to get you to listen to us; We followed you bc we want to listen to you, especially when you talk about music. Talk is the oxygen of music culture, + today doesn't have enough of it. Also, we're a band of people; not just billboards.

Sharon Van Etten is such a treasure. Her Remind Me Tomorrow record produced by John Congleton changed the way we thought about composition / production. And love the new Attachment Theory material. This stripped down KEXP performance is 🔥 youtu.be/5sLQTSK9bvQ?...

Also hoping to revisit collab idea w/ @rockstarelise.com. Traded some voice notes we’re excited about. Let’s see if we can manifest a solid Bluesky #MusicSky finding each other story.

Ok. back at it this month. Had to hit day job for bit to fund next phase — new release coming (been done for a year, but now it’s time). New track in works — something to process the violence in this world. & video we started last Oct, but editing / learning new software took longer than we thought.

37yrs ago, our second single from Vivid, Cult Of Personality, was released - July 14, 1988! Thank you to every fan who’s ever cranked it to 11, moshed to it, studied the lyrics, questioned authority, and demanded more. This song belongs to all of you now. #LivingColour #CultOfPersonality

This is key. What ppl dislike about Bluesky isn’t really about Bluesky, it’s about people, where we’re at, everything that led us here, the state of the world, the state of social media & the internet. We want this to be an app from a better time, but it is by far the best app for the time we’re in.

Public domain content rules. Found great footage on Internet Archive @archive.org to finish up vid we’ve been working on since Oct. Lots of convo around IP in context of AI. Wish artists had base income so we could lean into open source/creative commons, etc. How’s everyone feel bout this?
