Anyone fancy a sneak peek of some new material from our currently in-progress recording for KYRO5? Shelby talks about how she went about creating a choir of... well, Shelbys for this new upcoming track. Always a good reminder that the "progressive" in progressive rock can extend to the studio!

Huh, weird. It appears that someone added a bonus download to our version of "Fear & Love" on bandcamp for bandcamp Friday. And, we are just getting word on this now... it contains live video from our set on Cruise to the Edge? Who would do such a thing?

KYROS @kyrosofficial.bsky.social · 09/06/2025

We love a bit of fun during our live sets. Who doesn't? This was in the middle of "The End in Mind," which is a flemenco-inspired synthy prog metal romp with wild time signatures, big solos, and serious basslines. And maybe a little comic relief during the live shows, too. 😉

Did you know that this Friday, 2nd of May, is Bandcamp Friday? That means all proceeds from sales go directly to artists! 😁 We thought it might be fun to set down our synthpop sensibilities and try out the finance game, but we like prog rock more, apparently. kyrosmusic.bandcamp.com

Who's up for some boat pics? Yeah? These are from the pool stage aboard @cruisetotheedge.bsky.social 2025! We brought progressive rock in a slightly different way, but the audience didn't seem to mind one bit. It got synthy, it got poppy, it got liminal. Photos by Grace Hayhurst.

Anyone else enjoying this new season of Severance?

A meme based on Severance, showcasing our lead singer and frontwoman, Shelby, in the Affirmation room at Lumon being told that her "outie is a fine keyboardist and owns many synthesizers." To which Shelby responds with "Yooooooo," a standard Shelby expression of positive astonishment.
