Fourth election in a row the state of Texas fucked me out of my right to vote. Submitted for a mail-in ballot. Kept getting rejected. The last one, the form I got was smudged and unusable. They take 5+ business days to mail out applications and the deadline is Oct. 5 so I'm disenfranchised AGAIN.

Control Resonant has the honor of being one of the only soulslikes I enjoy, and it's sticking to the formula pretty well. The boss fights are wonderfully rendered, never feel unfair, and there are an excellent number of difficulty customization options going both ways if you want them! & the music!

Oh wow, GM gutted their parts EV1 to send the parts to the V212 crew to get it up and running. Soon there should finally be a legally privately owned EV1 on the streets running on original hardware (except the batteries)

btw if you're playing Control Resonant on PC and you have a Dualsense controller and aren't using it, you should be using it. Remedy tweaked the experience to use the advanced haptics and such, like they did for Alan Wake 2

Vangelis rolled a bunch of atmospheric sound design into the BR soundtrack, which is something 2049 simply didn't give a thought to. it is diminished by the absence of twinkling shimmering questionably diegetic soundscapes, quietly morphing digital noise, and a piano that's slightly out of tune.
