When you get rid of people with something to say with the creative spark to fuel it, all you're left with is incels and jaded people using those they've harassed as scapegoats to explain why their content sucks and why they're churning out slop instead of actual experiences and art.

Rajel Aran @rajelaran.cyberelf.space · 06/10/2026

yes, in this case it's a grammatical choice.

I was done after season 7. Never did watch the last season, and it sounded like that was a good decision The better decision would have been not to watch it at all.

Docker is pretty useful, even the basics. I run like 6 things off docker at home, it's nice and flexible

I love it! that makes so much sense

Yup! Resonant is a strong contender for personal GOTY. I didn't really look forward to playing as Dylan, and I tend to avoid soulslikes, but Remedy has delivered on fun AND constantly references the best Twin Peaks scene ever. I'll take the pro-trans dogwhistle. It's kinda refreshing.

Liz brought back gifts for us from New Orleans, and mine was my first Tarot deck, as you’re supposed to have it gifted to you. It’s a thing. Naturally, she got me a Star Trek TNG deck. Because she’s AMAZING. The major arcana are all bang-on selections, but… HOW FUCKING DARE THEY.

A “Death” tarot card featuring Tasha Yar, with Armus standing behind her menacingly. Because it’s important we remember that trauma needs to be relived over and over again.

The Metroid Prime VR mod would actually make me motion sick, so this is a very nice compromise.

010

Rajel Aran @rajelaran.cyberelf.space · 05/10/2026

Like in Eternal Darkness, items in the inventory screen render farther away past the book background. Just needs Z-position flipped. I think Metroid Prime needs the gun to render closer. Stuff like that. It's likely already in the VR mod but I'm not using VR, just a stereoscopic display. so excite!

Rajel Aran @rajelaran.cyberelf.space · 05/10/2026

just discovered stereoscopic mode in Dolphin and hot diggity this is my new favorite way to play GameCube games, with some glitches. With some patches for games to fix Z ordering here and there, it could be on par with or exceeding 3DS experience. And it really is just little things here or there!

I like that Neagley gets the same bold title frame as Reacher

omg I didn't know Dark Angel was in the omegaverse lineage, but wow that makes sense I also forgot Ackles was in that, I was too focused on Jessica Alba lol

yup, God of War 2, a hidden-but-accessible-without-hacks room. I actually found it without a guide. I knew it existed but I wasn't looking for it when I played and just stumbled on it lol

The dragon watched the girl climb up to its mountain lair. She stopped to catch her breath, then shouted: "Oi! I've got some questions." "Ask." "Princesses, why?" "They're educated and smell nice." "No noble blood?" "All humans are humans." "Yes! The revolution is go! Cheers!" "Good luck."
