Yup! Resonant is a strong contender for personal GOTY. I didn't really look forward to playing as Dylan, and I tend to avoid soulslikes, but Remedy has delivered on fun AND constantly references the best Twin Peaks scene ever. I'll take the pro-trans dogwhistle. It's kinda refreshing.

I really need to start taking melatonin again. in other news, the retroid pocket nova runs FFXIV surprisingly well, though I did have to transfer the installed files from another machine to make it go. now is it playable? what is that, text for ants?

my Retroid Pocket Nova came in and after installing Armada OS, it's practically a tiny Steam Deck, and can handle quite a few AAA games from 10 years ago with relative ease

cozy gamedev in bed feat. danalog yes the code is crap and makes no sense right now, I'm working on refactoring the whole proof-of-concept input and movement code from direct movement control to a thrust-based system and I'm still working through the logic all in my own brainmeats

And that's another cockpit sketched out. One of these days I'll do an asymmetric design but I keep building single-seaters lol next time I'll do retexturing and re-light the scene before final render at a few different resolutions.

Sharp had *fantastic* computer design!

A red and black Sharp X1 computer. The keyboard is red-cased with leys in three shades of gray. The computer has a cassette tape drive in the front, with a black stripe to the right.
The monitor has a black bezel inside a red case.
All the components are the same width, providing a unifying aesthetic.

got my copy of The Common Grounds and *devoured* the ending this morning after the drip of one-page-per-week following it here. IMO this is one of @glopossum.com's best!

The title is written in graffiti style on a bathroom stall wall over a glory hole, through which Juniper, an effeminate cat guy is peeking with his half-lidded, lined, pink-shadowed eye as his manicured, half-gloved hand grips the bottom of the hole. His fingernails are pink and sharp except for the index and middle, which are blunted for fingering purposes.
The cover clearly marks the book as 18+
Glopossum's business card is laying on the cover with her cartoon possum fursona in the center of the card.

awww yeah finally got a pristine copy of Sasha's Airdrawndagger time to replace my janky rip from 20 years ago

A shrinkwrapped CD jewel case containing the album Airdrawndagger by Sasha. There is a sticker on the upper left corner of the shrinkwrapped declaring it "the most highly anticipated album of the decade" and "STAGGERINGLY GREAT" attributed to DJ Magazine.

Oh god I just slapped in an xbox360 game I own but have never played, and I forgot that we actually played action games at 30FPS, once upon a time. This is painful😭 also so is the spelling for anyone who knows a little Cyrillic lol I have a feeling this Raven shooter will be a Taster's Choice.

Spear of Destiny SHOULD have creeped me out as a kid, but with my cult upbringing, touching the Spear and then being able to see the demonic plane and shooting demonic beings just made sense lol The first to really creep me out was Silent Hill 3, which definitely primed my love of liminal horror.
