The bar today has to be intensity & effort. Not expecting a result but we need to set the standard for rest of the season and start well. Style of play and integrating new players will take time, but effort and intensity shouldnt. Add in the emotion before the game for King Kev. Howay the lads #NUFC

I think a big problem we have is in defence we have no pace. With the exception of Hall who is usually higher up the pitch we have DB, MT & KT all who struggle if anyone gets passed them. Add to that Nick Pope who is slower than them all. #nufc

Before the game yesterday I said one thing. We need to not make any more defensive errors and low and behold we go and do it again. I do think we are inviting them by sitting deep in the 451 defensive block. I get the logic of it in terms of counter attack but its clearly not working. #NUFC
