RAID (Richmond AID) is a charity run by and for Disabled people in the London Borough of Richmond. Our aim is to support Disabled people to live independent lives and to have the same opportunities as non-Disabled people.

As from 1 October, the South West London Mental Health Crisis Line has a new number: 111 - select the mental health option. Please call if you/someone you know needs urgent mental health support. The NHS 111 service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. @SWLSTG @SWLNHS @swlstg.bsky.social

Today the government has announced it'll lift time restrictions on concessionary passes. Disabled people in England can travel by bus for free 24/7 from 1 April 2027. More details: bit.ly/4bUgAMy The charity Scope said the move would "remove barriers to everyday life".

We’ve got new bike 🚴‍♀️parking outside our office! Lack of bike parking was raised at the Transport & Mobility Forum last September. Working with @ruils.bsky.social & @richmondcouncil.bsky.social this new unit has been installed . We’re also planning parking for adapted bikes – watch this space! 🚴
