Hey there! Now that Fixation's off into the world, I am looking for work for 2027-2028! I've got a few more tarot and oracle decks incoming, but I'm wide open for comics work right now. If any editors are looking for IP work for hire or original pitches, hit me up. www.amythunderjam.com/comics

The 1:10 ratio cover for Fixation #1 by Lisa Sterle. Depicts a neon television set with a bloody handprint covering a steamy scene from the hit supernatural romance series Blood Mountain. Entertainment console has chips, action figures, and additional dvd cases on it.

The cover of Abuzz by Stelladia. Largely blue background meant to evoke a prom dance, with the cast of four high school students standing beneath bouquets of bee-shaped balloons. They are all wearing domino masks, as Beatriz and Hero gossip, Ben tries to show Claudio his phone, and Claudio and Hero shyly reach for each other's fingertips.

Cover for Flash Gordon Quarterly #6, with art by Michael Sta. Maria. Depicts Flash Gordon in a space suit with a domed helmet, raising his blaster. Behind him, a shark man emerges from a sandstorm to attack.

The cover of the Wednesday Official Oracle Deck, art by Leilani Bustamante. It depicts Jenna Ortega as Wednesday against a black starry background, with black dahlia flowers around her. The box cover has purple foil accents.

I’m simply just not interested in being scolded into sympathy for a white man’s mental health when those mental health issues directly affect the people around him, especially his subordinates. I can understand his actions without giving him a pass for shitty behavior

today's take is that this trend of posting obviously ai videos with a cheeky caption of "am i crazy or is this ai" is almost as bad as creating the damn thing bc why are you using it for engagement at all

You better hold on tight, spider monkeys! It's FIXATION LAUNCH DAY!!! 🔪🩸🧛😈 I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported this book (and continues to do so!). It's been a huge part of my life for over a year now and I'm so excited we get to share it with you today. I hope you love it.

The young woman is stabbed by a hooded killer, who grabs her necklace and plunges a knife into her neck. Her dialogue is a shout of, "AHHH" that is cut off by a GLRK sound effect, and the knife sound in her throat is SHKK.

Karrah (left, a young Black woman with pompom buns, a goth aesthetic, and a three wolf moon shirt) grabs Taylor's (right, a young white woman with brown hair wearing a baggy denim jacket, a gold locket, and a pink undershirt) hand as Taylor drives. The background is general forest. In unison, they shout, "EEEK!" and Taylor says, "We're almost there!"

A table filled with snacks like open bags of popcorn and chips, a pentagram-topped pizza, a pumpkin-shaped bowl of candy corn, and several open DVD cases and discs for films of the BLOOD MOUNTAIN franchise.

"Unfortunately, being kidnapped is much less romantic than fanfiction writers believe." This is it! Solicits for @idwpublishing.com FIXATION #3 have been revealed. Our final issue slashes its way into shelves on November 25, just in time to carve the Thanksgiving turkey. FOC for #3 is Oct 12.

Cover A for Fixation #3 as drawn by Suspiria Vilchez, written by Amy Chase and illustrated by Savanna Mayer. A terrified Taylor Van Owens is rope-tied to a chair and gagged over the mouth. Her shirt reads BLOOD MOUNTAIN SUPERFAN. A shadowy figure looms in the doorway behind her, holding a knife. Issue #3 hits shelves November 25, 2026!

Cover B for Fixation #3 as drawn by Savanna Mayer and colored by James Fenner. Series written by Amy Chase and illustrated by Savanna Mayer. Taylor Van Owens is shaded in red as she investigates a scene at the Mallard House with her phone. The killer's knife is larger than life behind her, while the silhouette of a deer colors the scene behind her, splitting the background between forest and house. It's a very surreal depiction of the story. Issue #3 hits shelves November 25, 2026!

Cover C for Fixation #3 as drawn by Lauren Knight. Series written by Amy Chase and illustrated by Savanna Mayer. The hooded killer sits on a throne that is covered in the bodies of dead girls from murders past. The killer has a copy of Blood Mountain in hand, and is smirking. Deer antlers frame the throne, each limb of the antler draped in gold Blood Mountain lockets. Issue #3 hits shelves November 25, 2026!

I think about this at least a dozen times a day.

people end up unable to see depiction as anything other than endorsement when their entire cultural diet is escapist fun and reassurance. they see something make them uncomfortable and can only assume people are watching horrible shit as vicarious pleasure and are horrified.

I always wonder if Korean variety shows actually get the licensing for the music they use or they just bank on the fact that a western pop star’s team probably isn’t watching this random program in Korean
