#31daysofhorror 7. Sister Death Prequel to Verónica, I'm happy to revisit the world. Also makes up for the misfire of yesterday. I enjoyed this as much as Verónica. I wasn't sure, since prequels like this are rarely good. But it's solid.

I'm glad I waited this long to actually look at the diagnosis on my hospital paperwork. I didn't need to know the reality of it while I was still in early recovery stages.

#31daysofhorror 6. Immaculate I really only watched this one due to Catholic trauma and resulting fetishization. Meh. Could have been creepier, bloodier, more gruesome, more eerie. Just more. I am not impressed. Also, none of the finial girl moments were satisfying. Meh.

#31daysofhorror 1. Under the Shadow War is horror, and now you have to also deal with the supernatural. Really good depiction of family conflict. Uncertainty but not in a bad way. That tape was doing a lot of heavy lifting though.

It is a really unexpectedly sad movie. It's very much horror for dogs instead of a horror starting starring a dog.

I'm glad I have a backlog of horror saved up, I still want to do my yearly watching of new movies, but I'm so tired still, I need to be able to choose quickly. I also don't know if I'll do a series rewatch this year. Maybe later in the month.

I loved that movie. I'm so glad I saw it in theater.

When I was looking for grants, I found a state website that listed all of them in one place, to give you somewhere to start.

The cool thing about that idea though is that there are tons of education based grants that could help.

That's indeed what I caught! I haven't read Miriam yet, but I did see the officer. This was really cool, though. Just sitting and reading and suddenly there it was! A book I loved in a book I'm loving.
