Struggling all week to paint anything I didn't hate. Just realised that I'm just so tired from work at the moment, that I can barely envision what I want things to look like. If I can't see it, how can I expect my hands to know what to do?! So... when in doubt... paint a lemon! 😅

We found a compromise! 😅 Switched to hibiscrub (once I got a closer look at the paw, it seemed the better choice) and found a set up that allows for 2 to 3 minutes. Hardly limping today, so it seems to be working! Phew!

Soak the paw in Epsom salt for 10 minutes. Have they ever met a dog?? Her Ladyship was not impressed. We managed maybe two minutes and I got soaked, as well. Haha!

I spent this month focused on painting things the way I see them. Now that the formal challenge is over, I decided to take a deep breath and play, painting what I felt instead. I forgot how freeing that can be! :-)

Day 22 Work has entirely lost the plot. Working until after 9, so I was having my dinner with a side of doodling. The rest of the week won't be any better, but damn it, I'll keep my commitment. Just 8 more days. I can do that!

Day 9 Another subject from the garden. Didn't have the energy to keep going and fix the edges, so they'll stay as they are.

Day 6. Unexpectedly got busy today, so I didn't have a lot of time. Set myself a 30 minute timer and was done with 5 to spare. A time constraint is great for focusing on the important bits. I think I might do that more often!

Sometimes we need to help our brains a lil... I keep forgetting whether I've taken my hrt, because it's a gel and so it doesn't fit into my daily medication bottles. Started getting hot flashes again, so I'm guessing I did forget. Luckily I'm a crafter... :-)

I have way too many projects on the go already, including several paintings in various stages of completion, so of course I started a new one. Haha!
