Exactly. And DCC is chaos and when I learned Matt Dinniman was a pantser, I originally wasn’t surprised — but as I got through the books, I really was surprised. They connect really well, for all the chaos. There has to be at least a mental outline.

Which is to say it’s definitely not for everyone. And I think that’s a good thing. I don’t trust books that try too hard to be for everyone.

But while there’s a very good two headed puppy there is also some dog breed slander from princess donut, who cannot see the point of them.

I thought it was not for me and DNF’d the first go. My brother talked me into a second try and something clicked. But it’s not for everybody and there ARE a lot of dick jokes. But there’s also Carl parenting donut as she learns to be sentient and Donut learning to be a parent to Mongo.

I am afloat so far this month due to a small grant refund after my tuition was paid and a small gift (both of which are huge to me) from a friend. It’s about $212 total and it has been life changing this month. Literally life changing this month.
