I come back from work and crash out on the couch. I can't cook or take a shower or even move. It's like I'm stuck there. And I know it's because I'm neurodivergent and work drains me but it's also hard to not feel guilt or shame. I just wish I could have a nice evening, enjoy my time after work.

1st day of the week and I'm already overwhelmed. My students were awful. One of my teeth hurts like hell. The tape on the second-degree burn on my hand isn't sticking and the dressing is a sensory nightmare. People are shouting outside so I have to wear my noise canceling headphones inside.

Being neurodivergent is exhausting. I have to wear headphones inside because I can't stand how loud the children outside are. They're just playing, I don't blame them. I blame myself for being oversensitive. There's a constant ringing in my ears. I feel attacked by smells. My clothes feel scratchy.
