Whoever wrote the main rule book for the new Discworld TTRPG understood the assignment. Footnotes, humorous asides, fourth wall breaking — it almost perfectly captures Pterry’s writing style while still being a TTRPG rule book. Well done!

Now, my AuDHD brain works in weird ways, so the whole 'just tell yourself to do it', doesn't really work. The things is that easing yourself into this kind of thing is kinda like attempting to slowly submerge yourself in icy water or put your hand into the flames. My brain activated my executive dysfunction and here we are, three years with very little writing happening for me. And I'm sick of it 5/7

I finished my education, got my degree, my first real job, bought a house, checked off all of the boxes on the 'things for adults' list that I had brought along with me since childhood. And while there was excitement and relief and tears and happiness. I felt so fucking empty as well. 2/7

Uh yeah, this is how it feels. It took me way too long to figure out that playing games in this way was the reason I was acting like a hermit and becoming more and more asocial ... Gaming can be SO fun but ADHD brain dictates that once it starts it Doesn't Stop, so care is needed
