The mayor just moved an amendment that guts Brooklyn cycleway including introducing a clearway for part of the route. I argued strongly against largely on the impact of women and young people who are more likely to travel outside peak and be more safety conscious. Sadly it passed

Shock horror their latest announcement is spending on Mill Rd, a project that will duplicate 7km of road for almost half* the price of the rail proposal that would serve most of our major centers. (*if we are being extremely optimistic about probable cost escalation of the road)

A thing I discovered that might help other people: if your phone charging cable stops staying in the port, try scraping the bottom and the side of port with a pin. My experience suggests a truly shocking amount of lint may have felted itself to the inside of your port.
