Aurora corona, the rarest shape occurring during strong aurora activity and often accompanied by heightened visible colour. This one was directly over our heads as we approached Reykjavik in January 2025 and was literally shocking pink to the naked eye. #iceland #aurora #auroraborealis #auroracorona
