It’s quite literally their job to maintain order in the city. Part of that job entails making sure that angry mobs don’t assault federal law enforcement. Having a socialist as mayor does not change any of that.

Video from the scene shows NYPD rush to a man who’s surrounded by ICE agents and carry him into an unmarked SUV. Video also shows ICE agent Brendan Cuni carrying a rifle and wearing a work vest. Witnesses say Cuni shot him. Cuni, who’s from NYC, is known for dragging a pregnant woman in MSP.

I've been immersed in research on Reconstruction in Lousiana and it's a very difficult truth to absorb that the white terrorist movement in the South was among the most successful terrorist movements in global history. The tactics we employ will be contingent on those the regime chooses, but it’s worth pointing out that we already exist under an escalating sys of violence. It’s inevitable & in fact already underway. But making things not work will be what is required. The question is simply which things & when.

If you show up to a protest that descends into violence in response to that, it’s going to be very easy to paint us as trying to disrupt the electoral process.

“The federal government has seized all ballots from [Democratic district] in [Democratic state] and is conducting a review to ensure a free and fair election” is something that many Americans will buy.

I don’t think these protests would get nearly enough traction without elite messaging from the Democratic establishment. People don’t riot (in any meaningful numbers) over ballot processing.
