Charities play a vital role in #UKresearch, helping save and improve lives. In 2025, AMRC charities invested a record £2.1bn in medical research, supporting 27,000+ researchers and 1,127 clinical studies. Explore the full infographic: bit.ly/4wervbB
Infographic from the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) highlighting the impact of UK medical research charities in 2025. The AMRC logo appears at the top. Three sections are shown: (1) a blue icon of three researchers with the text: "27,000 researcher salaries were funded by AMRC charities, including 7,700+ early career researchers."; (2) a pie chart comparing research investment—AMRC £2.1bn, NIHR £1.6bn, and MRC £0.9bn—with the caption: "£2.1 billion was invested by AMRC charities in UK medical research in 2025."; and (3) a purple icon of three people beneath a heart with an ECG line, with the text: "1,127 clinical trials or studies funded by AMRC charities in 2025, involved 193,853 participants."
