I never see people calling for news coverage to note the approximately forty years he was associated with Surf Lifesaving New Zealand or the name of the sports club he was mentoring at when he assaulted people. It's just pointscoring and it's gross.

At this point Tim Jagi has not worked for ACT for almost as long as he did work for ACT. He also didn't commit his offending while he worked for them. At this point, repeatedly insisting on the association makes it look like people care more about scoring political points than about his victims.

CHAPTER

1

The magic in that country was so thick and tenacious that it settled over the land like chalk-dust and over floors and shelves like slightly sticky plaster-dust. (Housecleaners in that country earned unusually good wages.) If you lived in that country, you had to de-scale your kettle of its encrusta-tion of magic at least once a week, because if you didn't, you might find yourself pouring hissing snakes or pond slime into your teapot instead of water. (It didn't have to be anything scary or unpleasant, like snakes or slime, especially in a cheerful household magic tended to reflect the atmosphere of the place in which it found itself-but if you want a cup of tea, a cup of lavender-and-gold pansies or ivory thimbles is unsatisfactory. And while the pansies-put dry in a vase-would probably last a day, looking like ordinary pansies, be-fore they went greyish-dun and collapsed into magic dust, something like an ivory thimble would begin to smudge and

crumble as soon as you picked it up.) The best way to do it was to have a fairy as a member of your household, because she (it was usually a she) could lay a finger on the kettle just as it came to a boil (absentminded fairies could often be recognised by a pad of scar-tissue on the finger they favoured for kettle-cleaning) and murmur a

I have definitely been eating a lot more cheese but it's hard when the best cheeses are all off limits! Broccoli ... look there are just better green vegetables in my opinion (I still eat it but I can't get excited about it)

trying so hard to get to three servings of dairy a day bc I'd like to keep my own teeth and bones and also ensure baby has good teeth and bones but it is definitely leading to slightly perverse outcomes like "drinking more caffeine".

People looooove to send them to Boston and like two or three times I tolerated the myth of the tolerant Raiders but increasingly I'm like this is just a excuse to have them live in America huh

I have received news of a perfectly named cafe located on the waterfront of Nova Scotia's capital, if you know what I mean
"Broken Man cafe" sign on a big plate glass window, through which one can see cafe tables and chairs and backs of people's heads. In the distance, a sign indicates that this is Pier 22 on the Halifax waterfront
