As many issues we still have, and many issues just evolved rather than solved, I think our current state of Feminism and LGBTQ+ rights would be worse without. Womens stories aren't gated behind cable news, and LGBTQ+ folks are connecting and sharing with others in the community, and with allies.

I do feel bad for delivery drivers/USPS - must have made this summer uniquely challenging, but I'm all for more traffic calming. City planners clearly tried to make some numbered avs thoroughfares (36th, 42nd); and built infrastructure should reinforce that beyond stop signs

If you look at the decline period of Google search though, I think people were flooding the zone with SEO. Of course the first example in mind is because the College Humor bit about searching for vaccines and Autism and there were multiple conspiracy sites fighting for that search

AI exacerbates than because it's typically confident, and tells you you're a good boy you asked a great question and offers no acknowledgement that results may be wrong, it misunderstood the data, or misconstrued data to fit your prompt.

Omigod, this is the most heartwarming story possible! Backpack (bear 89) is the son of the 2019 winner of Fat Bear Week, Holly (bear 435). In 2007, he injured his foot & a practice of riding on momma's Holly's back had a new meaning: he was mobility-restricted while it healed. So Holly moved him.

From DISCVR blog's Facebook page, a momma bear & a yearling cub on her back in the shallow water. I think the background has been swapped out, and I can't rule out some AI use there? God, Facebook has become the social media for AI slop : (
