Honestly, white people would be like COMMUNIST!!! We already know this, there is no magic candidate who will make southern whites choose the greater good. That said, I am in favor of AOC for president.

Got it. And that makes sense. Anyone nervous about Platner, as I am, please do what you can to support folks like Sherrod Brown in Ohio. The more seats we add, the less we have to worry about this guy -- or Fetterman.

When Minority Leaders Jeffries or Schumer, VP Harris or even now private citizen Jaime Harrison skeets out a message, the leftists and “do somethings” descend on them like buzzards on a carcass. Ken Martin gets dialogue completely devoid of vitriol while the DNC backs a Nazi. Seriously??

Platner went further than Sanders, he appeared on two podcasts that are devoted to Shadowy Jewish Cabal talk. Dude is an antisemite.

Pretty obviously antisemitic. It strains credulity to say otherwise. He looked at that tat on his chest for 20 years with no curiosity about what it meant? Nah. He's embracing Shadowy Jew talk, he's on the pods. If people think he's better than Collins fine, but gotta be truthful about the bigotry.

The Democrats who stood behind Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and then Kamala Harris have been TELLING YOU that this was ALL coming! And some of you are acting like this is new information? You just weren’t listening.

It's inane to claim the public would've been like "oh damn, better vote because SCOTUS" - look at who and what athey voted for! And Harris DID talk about the court. No, she didn't make a list of judges she'd appoint. Anyone who thinks American voters needed to see a roster of appointees is on drugs

that the virginia supreme court allowed the referendum to go forward - they could have stopped it - and then ruled this way really gives up the game the only difference between now and then is that the we know the result and they didn't like it

The problem—which both the GOP and the milquetoast institutionalists seem to not be grappling with here—is that the more you close off avenues of political change through the democratic process, the more you push people to see extra-institutional mechanisms as their only option

I don't think people are giving up. Theyre going to vote, but they have clear eyes about what may happen. Democrats are going to win some court cases, but every election an R loses will result in some sort of court challenge. And Rs will win some of those.

What will you say when the Florida Supreme Court permits DeSantis to overrule that constitution? If you really think this was merits based, I don't know what to tell you. We've got to face reality.

When the voters approve a map to help Democrats, it's nullified. When Republican legislators approve a map to help Republicans without going to the voters, it's allowed. The system is rigged to help the fascists.

So you get euphemisms like “the groups” and “purity politics” from more sophisticated political actors which is clearly understood by less sophisticated political actors because they turn around and plainly interpret it as “we should’ve never mentioned water poisoning in Flint”

I see it the same way. As a recovering lawyer, all I can say is that when the rule of law dies, bad things happen and we are literally witnessing it. Consent of the governed doesn't exist when the law is used to subjugate one side.

This will make for the quite split screen for when Florida's conservative supreme court likely ignores the state's 2010 constitutional amendments and blesses DeSantis' +4 map.

They are yelling at everyone to speak more like humans and yet, they keep saying "strong" when I think they mean "not evil" - but like, encouraging them not to be evil racists in gentle language is a total waste of time. The opposition party shouldn't be evil, but they are.

Obama and other liberals keep saying that they want a "strong GOP". Well, this is what it looks like: a brazen and gleeful rejection of Black people having anything worth respecting or defending and alignment with an openly white nationalist agenda that holds nonwhiteness in contempt.

Piker lobbying Platner to go on Tucker is perfect illustration of how the whole "Harris betrayed us by breathing the same air as Cheney" was manufactured bullshit. Tucker is one of the most antisemitic people on the planet and yet we need to find common ground with him? Come tf on.

Losing the presidential race- with an entire team you inherited - isn't a killer, either. We've just seen that old norm shattered. A lot of Democrats like and respect her
