I love command line interfaces (CLI). I was raised on computers where that was the only way to interact. Even after Windows 3.1 I duel booted DOS. It’s worth investing the time to wrap your head around it. A lot of things can only be done with CLI, it’s the behind the scenes of the computer.

Also if there is a certain type of kink or art you don’t want to see, improve your block list and move on. No shame or yuck, you do you with consenting adults. If I don’t want to see it, I have tools to block that that do not involve me making demands of the original poster besides tagging.

Renamon is how I discovered the furry community. Didn’t “turn” me into a furry, but looking on the internet for Renamon art was when I noticed the art was labeled “furry” and I started to explore what the heck that meant.

I’d bet no human read it and they have AI bots scanning websites for contact info. Also decent chance ai not a human monitors your email reply and your sarcastic tone might come off through their auto detectors as “positive sentiment”, which they will be happy to report without questioning if true

Not to defend Bluesky moderation, but… In this case, isn’t this by definition “sexually suggestive”? The label is correct? When I use Bluesky for work, I do want to filter out sexually suggestive content on some accounts. I would not want a picture like that to be on my screen while in the office.

I’m thinking “furry for over 25 years” is the best compromise for me. Because I was in fact under 18 when I became a furry, but it doesn’t matter exactly when because even if I falsely claimed I was a furry at age 0 I’m definitely an adult by now 😆

I identify as a greymuzzle, I have that in my bio. When I see people say this I’ve wondered if I also need to put “18+” or if implicitly that’s enough… Maybe I can answer my own question and I should be more clear by changing it to “I’ve been a furry for over 25 years” 😆

I am trying my hardest to be vegan but forgiving myself when I can’t or it’s just too inconvenient for me to be so when I can accept a little dairy or eggs. Gelatin is a hard one because sometimes it is in things I don’t even realize.

I have entered a phase of my life where seeing meat in art/drawings is starting to gross me out. It’s weird because I am generally totally okay with people eating meat next to me at a restaurant. As long as my food was never on the same plate/utensils and no cross contamination. What gives?
