“Trump has proposed applying across the board tariffs of 10-20% on most of the $3 trillion U.S . imports, and a minimum 60% tariff on all imports from China. This will cause freight rates to rise as importers race to dodge the extra costs, as well as a frantic rise in non time-sensitive imports.”
