I've built up a large collection of images on my daily walks from my house, all filed in a folder called 'Close to Home'. At some point I may do something with the work, but most importantly I find the process of regularly revisiting & photographing familiar places meditative & creatively rewarding.

Today’s 📷 🎞️ Polaroid

This is a diptych made with a Polaroid Passport 100, a camera with two lenses designed to produce duplicate portrait images for passports and other forms of ID. I cover one lens and release the shutter, then cover the other lens and release the shutter again.

In frame we see foliage. On the left, bare tree branches reaching down. On the right, full branches reaching up.this image is quite cool in tone, taken in the final moments of sunset, it appears.
