A snag I hit though, is that a lot of what the player fights in the pit is per-collapse tech. So their weaponry would not be pit adapted.

There's an immense amount of ambient energy in the pit, which is packaged and sold to the surface. Perhaps access to that energy makes the folk down there very dangerous through pit exclusive weaponry. As such, it's much cheaper to barter with them than try to regime change them.

I certainly would prefer to do something unique to the habitat, as that gives flavor. Narratively, I like the idea that things just work differently down there. Like trying to fire a gun underwater. Or better yet, maybe they just have a better way of throwing chunks of metal around at high speeds.

It's alright, especially for the price. My son is super into it. So far I prefer the original. Like it's simple diablo, but what I feel the game doesn't get enough credit for is that it's makes it really obvious why things happen. There's no 'well I guess I crit more'

The trick is to accept that you don't need to make perfect lines. It's amazing how much faster you can move when you're not redrawing every stroke thirty times. I like to sculpt my lines. Like make them super thick and then remove chunks to get the flow I want.

(They're not bike shorts —They go all the way up.) Ever draw a pose you're absolutely sure is fine but your eyes say nope? I wanted to draw her forehead, and this is the stupid pose I decided to use to achieve that. And then I ended up making her forehead too small.
