Brady was in Ashworth, not Broadmoor. I think he would have preferred prison. He actively wanted to die. Had he been in prison he could have gone on a more effective hunger strike. In Ashworth he couldn't do that - they just force fed. Anyone who thinks these psych places are cushy is deluded.

If that's the instance I'm thinking of then that wasn't mocking, that was a highlight example of misuse of service. The mental health place I work for has a complete list of misuse cases to help workers identify these users who take up valuable time that could be used helping genuine people.
