My original plan to take JLPT this year has been topedoed, only because I missed the registration period by a significant period. Shucks, I'll have to take it next July, meaning to register by March - April. That also means more time for prep, so not is all lost.

In case if anyone's curious, I'm on there too! ... Also, I just realized just before posting that my number might have coincided with needing to do some rip-and-tearing.

Late night thoughts: Not sure why I'm having that sense that the people I knew from past are slipping off my hands and views of familiarity. Like, it's as if life itself has a way of saying that my current time is over and I'm forced to start anew now. It doesn't sound... correct.

I finished watching this and... #OptimusPrimeAwakening... Without spoilers, I can say that I enjoy the tributes to other TF series, voice-acting (RIP Peter Cullen) and animation work but the story is quite confusing. I appreciate the send-off.

Kinda curious as to how many people here have watched the animated film, The Violinist - a 2026 animated period drama film directed by Singaporean animator Ervin Han and Spanish animator Raúl García? Been hearing it being promoted on local radio for a week or so already.

Taking the very first steps on my journey to clear JLPT one level at a time. I do have some prior Japanese language knowledge, but no harm strengthening by revision.

The 2000s were a time when I grew up watching a lot of experimental and highly stylized cartoons. Courage The Cowardly Dog was one such show I remembered fondly for both the comedy and blend of supernatural horror and science fiction to weave a narrative that respects the audience's time. :)

I am unsure if I should share here the problems I encountered during the past 2 weeks that made me despondent recently.

These past 2 weeks have been extremely unkind, so I am bettering it by continuing my model kit assembly for Meow Woof Secret Service - Husky mech.

Just watched #CoyoteVsACME. Really fun film that mixes cel-shaded CGI that's similar to traditional animation with live-action acting. It being made in 2023 but released now 2026 is kinda wild to me.

@tanorath.bsky.social Hi there, in case if you see some weird messages from my account on Steam, it's compromised. I am in the process of recovering it, so please ignore or don't click whatever's inside. I've reset my account access there and did whatever I could to minimize damage.

If only more people on the outset understand and appreciate the effort going into crafting artwork (in this case, suits) themselves. It seems that as a community grows, too many people only look on the outside (many are superficial). Best not to pass judgment too quickly.

Purchased the indie game title GB Rober (developed by @mokkograd.net ) some time ago but only got time today to play. Just did my first game clear; unlocked like 12 out of the 25 available achievements in one go. There's... quite a lot to process, lore-wise. Getting some Megaman vibes, plays fun.

Model kit completed after a few months due to stalling from medical reviews, work and other distractions and side-grading. Giga Garage - Gear Frame GF-R01 Ignatius. A melee-based fighting mecha that wears its inspiration from G Gundam a fair bit due to its Shining Finger-esque palm design.

Gym gloves I wishlisted long time ago (like 4, 5 years) but only recently got them via eBay (like 2 days ago). Last time I worn gloves to gym was like 10 or so years ago. Want to use this as a way to progressively improve hand grip, which only ever so recently got worse possibly due to heart issues.
