Star Trek Holoween ll is out TODAY!! Here are my inks for the cover of #1! #art 🌹✨

Photo of inked lineart for the cover of issue #1 of Star Trek HoloWeen ll. It depicts an arrangement of the main cast of deep space 9 encased in the circle of a starlet ship—mimicking a magnifying glass. Behind them is some sort of comic looking entity . Surrounding the image are art deco like design elements

This week's lesson: Tell people right away if they make you uncomfortable or say something rude regardless of whether or not you think they will receive it well. Be genuine to your own feelings.

I feel this sometimes, too. It's burnout from so much scary shit happening, a traumatized reaction. You're scared, freezing up in self-defense. But remembering it's not all bad is important. Despair and defeat are easy. Hope and collective action is work. Rest up, we have this, together.

Enjoying Forgive-Me-Not while Willow stares wistfully at the outdoors she absolutely would hate being in, but desperately wants to experience.

The cover of Forgive-Me-Not by Mari Costa. It's a wonderful book about queer girlies in the fae.

A zoom in on Willow, along with all the smudges she's made on the screen sticking her nose and mouth against the dust. She doesn't want to be outside. She just wants to know she could be outside.

Quick PSA. Looking at you, local orgs and small businesses.

Crudely drawn bunny character holding a pencil, messy hand lettering surrounds them in orange to green gradient color. It says in all caps:

Stop using AI for your flyers & logos! They look like shit, everybody thinks so! Seriously, you’re losing business. Just make it yourself or hire a real artist.

Feels like I’m going insane seeing alerts/news stories about the hazardous air quality that don’t even mention masks or say things like “do a little less yard work :)”. Bestie, the air is TOXIC. Any time outside is HARMFUL. The guidance should be 1) stay inside 2) if you can’t stay in, wear a mask.

It's been an extremely emotional week for me. From feeling like a long-term friendship is slowly dying even though I've been desperately trying to hold onto it and then yesterday my parents were involved in a car crash (rear ended really hard). They are okay, but my mom had to get stitches.

Zara more than likely has this. The vet said it's super common and the tests for it can be inaccurate. I just give her Lysine gel regularly and that seems to help. Hopefully Chickadee feels better soon! I shall pay the cat tax!

Zara and I had a really nice long cuddle yesterday evening. Sometimes she can tell when I'm sad and gives me extra attention.

Zara, who is a black Sphynx cat is laying down in a grey blanket on top of a Cas' belly. Only her head is visible, and she is pressed against the right side of her face with her eyes closed and her chin just slightly squished from the pressure.

A picture of a black Sphynx cat under a yellow and purple Pikachu blanket. Only her head is visible, appearing as though she is sleeping like a person would.

I don't show off Willow enough here. Here's one of her favourite napping positions where she crutches my hand with all her paws and goes to sleep.

Willow is a diluted tortoiseshell calico, meaning she is a light orange and grey mix. She is laying curled up around my hand on a green Keroppi blanket on top of a cat bed. Her back paw is prominently shown rested on top of my forearm with her tail curled under it. Only one of her front paws is visibly resting on top of my forearm. Her eyes are closed and she is laying on her side.

No worries and thank you! I am recovering much more smoothly this time than for my first surgery. It's truly a night and day difference. I'm feeling so much better too. The fatigue I had pre-surgery is completely gone and I'm just feeling really grateful that I'm starting to feel more normal.
