I don’t know, I think his preamble is helpful and reveals quite a lot. You can’t do constitutional law nowadays without first making clear you’re committed to the project of pwning the libs.

People have work, but find the necessities of life too expensive and the overall economic situation unfair.

The archived 538 site didn’t cost anything significant to keep online. I saw the contracts. There’s just nobody in charge there anymore who has a commitment to journalistic ethics that overrides their desire for their December bonus check

ALL MN PROTESTERS Absolutely nothing could be worse for our cause than violence and rioting. It is what ICE and Trump obviously want. Do not burn down our own city to protest invaders; they do not care; they will enjoy it. Do not do it. Do not let your fellow protesters do it.

Im any case, I’m just honestly asking you, as an elected official in my city, to try to stay united, whatever your historic disagreements with the Mayor. I don’t think this is the time to play blame games with the mayor or to fight old factional battles. Thanks for listening and for the work you do

I think it’s inappropriate to suggest that this resolution would have somehow prevented ICEs actions today. I don’t see that this resolution would have had any legal force at all. It is effectively a statement of what you would like the contact with the MPD to say.

Jason, that resolution would not have prevented ICE from taking these actions today. It was about the contract with MPD. This is not the time to try to score political points against the mayor. Let’s stay united.

The district courtroom really is one of the last spaces left in American public life where there’s a serious possibility that a strategy built on the denial of reality just won‘t fly.

Maybe 5 people out there will appreciate this, but I am trying to parse a huge database dump of a foreign government's trademark registration data. I've just discovered that one of the trademarks is recorded as "<<<<Intelligence\\<<<<for<<<<<<\\<<<<Life<<<<<<". (Cf. xkcd.com/327/)
