She canceled the Luca book, and repurposed much of it into Unrivaled. I'm sure his story will continue in that book, but he's probably never getting a book of his own. I'm worried they won't do as much of Role Model as I want them to. Troy is such a great character. So many great scenes.

To be fair, if the rumors are true, The Long Game is being split into two seasons, and the wedding is at the end, so it still could be in season 3...

(I love him in short hair obviously, but damn I miss those curls, and I'm going to miss them in season 2 as well)

Today marks the Anniversary of Matthew Shepard's death. Not everyone knows the story of what happened after, that it would be 25 long years before his body would have a permanent resting spot. Because of hate. Hate for a beautiful young gentle soul that was taken too soon. #MatthewShepard #LGTBT

WE WILL NOT FORGET

On the night of October 6, 1998 Matthew Shepard was targeted, kidnapped, pistol whipped, and left tied to a fence in a remote field in Laramie, Wyoming.

He died six days later from severe head injuries in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Both perpetrators were arrested, convicted of first-degree
murder and sentenced to consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.

Did you know that for 25 years Matthew Shepard had no permanent resting place due to concerns his grave would be vandalized, and when Reverend Budde learned of this, she invited the Shepards to
inter him inside the Washington National Cathedral. She co-officiated the service that welcomed Matthew to a forever home in the church and told the gathering, "20 years of mourning was not enough for
someone who is loved. Nor can 20 years heal the grief of such a loss."

I mean, assuming that Seasons 2/3 are The Long Game plus bits of Role Model and Tough Guy... then we HAVE to have season 4 to cover "Unrivaled", right?? RIGHT?

I really don't know how a lot of artists are making it anymore. If they are. A lot of the old revenue structures have crumbled. Getting supporters on patreon is surely harder in a high inflation time. Presumably a lot of the old gig work is now getting eaten by ai.

Hubble 5 "Hubble Double Bubble" - From Judy Schmidt (geckzilla.bsky.social) - flic.kr/p/fPtZgw

Can't say I added much to what's already been done with this nebula, but I thought I'd try and see what happened especially since I haven't tried a bipolar nebula before.

There's no wideband data available which makes me wonder how it would look with the usual f555w filter included.

I am guilty of increasing the brightness of the blue channel greatly compared to the others because I like the indigo color produced. Still, blue is OIII as usual and it's interesting that it seems to lag behind the rest of the nebula so emphasizing it makes that easier to see. I had to double check that my f502n data was really from the same year because it seemed like it was from an earlier time frame.

There are also some repeating concentric structures in this one that look sort of like light echoes. It would be easy to check if there were any images available from another year but I couldn't find any.

This week’s Supreme Court decision is another reminder of what we are up against heading into November. They can put more obstacles in our way, but they cannot take away our power. Our answer is to show up, make our voices heard, and turn out in numbers that are too big to rig.

Like part of me really hopes there's just a super early scene with him and Wyatt on the Toronto team plane, showing his fear of flying, Wyatt being cool, and of course Dallas Kent and Troy Barret being assholes to him. At least we know we're getting the funeral scene. And him walking in on them!

We have our Ryan Price, and I could not be happier. I LOVE him in Percy Jackson, and while he doesn't exactly fit my mental image of Ryan Price, I know as an actor he will NAIL the part. My only sadness is that his part will likely be pretty small. Depends on how much Tough Guy they bring in.
