hold your friends close. tell them you love them. you will never know when you get to see them, hear their laughter, see them smile for the last time your time here together is a flicker of a candle flame and you will miss their light once they have gone

Synth Bits! Got me a second Korg DRV-3000 reverb, as mine is integral to my music and I want to keep a second one ready, just in case. This here had a Battery low warning. Battery itself (CR2032 with attached flaps) was OK, but one flap came off. Soldered a new battery in, done. #synthbits

My old mixing console, which has barely been used in the past two years, has been sold and picked up. Feels strange to have it gone, although I'm very happy with the new console. May it be as reliable to the new owner as it had been to me.

During the renovation work, I came across my childhood plushy Kasper again. I wanted to hand-wash him when I found him, but he fell apart in my hands. 💔 As a small memory I commissioned an artwork by @skullying.bsky.social Thank you so much for that! 🩵 Do you still have your first plushy?

If you support a small business, you don't make a big company marginally richer. You help a person afford something they've wanted for a long time. After 18 years, my trusty H4n audio recorder is almost falling apart. It's time for an upgrade. Thanks to all my customers for making this possible. ❤️

After giving my concert on Wednesday, I went to another concert at the Elbphilharmonie today. Richard Galliano went absolutely crazy on the accordion. Fantastic performance!

Oof. Today was only the opening day and still quite stressful - too many events, too many delays, too many people. Glad I decided to top it off with a vintage synthesizer concert by @plushiepalace.bsky.social - that was exactly what I needed. Now my legs are shot, so's my lower back… time for bed.

Ok, European friends, the ECB is going to redesign the Euro banknotes and are doing a survey to see what design europeans like the most. YOU HAVE TO VOTE FOR THE BIRD ONES!! LET US HAVE LITTLE BIRDS IN OUR MONEY. There are many designs to choose from as well: surveys.ecb.europa.eu/lng/en/pageT...

One possible redesign for the 5€ banknote, with a wallcreeper.

A possible redesign for the 20€, this time with a color illustration in vertical of an European bee-eater.

Also in a vertical format, a possible redesign for the 50€ banknote with a white stork.

Another possible redesign for the 50€ banknote (my favorite option), also featuring the white stork.

This is hard but I really need the money. I’m selling my AE Tangible Waves starter synthesizer with SEQ16 16-step sequencer and TBD multifunction DSP. Asking $750 plus shipping to CONUS.

A Tangible Waves AE Modular synthesizer arranged inside its original shipping box, with two rows of installed modules including oscillators, filters, sequencers, mixers, envelopes, and utility modules. An instruction card, patching guide, accessories, and the boxed power supply are placed above the synth, showing the complete contents before setup.
