The main thing I see people advocating for on these endless “here’s how I’d do it” threads is some very specific lore thing or crazy twist vision. And in truth, things are subtler, a lot more barebones than that.

Plum Puddin @plumpuddin.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I’ve seen a lot of these kind of threads and most of them are foolish and extremely circumstantial. Nev gets it. This is a great one.

I’ve made a whole comic! It’s a Queer Cyberpunk Noir Revenge thing. It’s very cool I think and it’d mean a lot to me if people could read and share! Thanks ! ☺️ #comic #webcomic #newcomic

It's the 4th of July

A memed Lisa Frank illustration of a blonde surfer chick sitting on a rainbow patterned surf board with her little Chihuahua dog next to her. There is a dolphin in the water and there are palm trees hanging down. Caption: "Yes, the horrors are indescribable, but you've got to serve."

Plum Pudding @plumpuddin.bsky.social created this amazing cover. Disparate Minds returns with the second half of Lagrange Point in this haunting finale from series creator Plum Pudding. Edited by Ostara Gale @wyrdvora.bsky.social and Aristide Twain @aristidetwain.bsky.social . The message follows:

An image of a silhouette of someone holding a knife against a red background. White text reads "Disparate Minds" and "Lagrange Point Part Two".

I think Resident Evil’s probably more of a scrape than you’re saying, though yeah, I agree. My mind goes to Twin Peaks — I mean, he’d figure out the murder, and being stuck in the waiting room for 25 years is nothing to him, but he’d totally make the same mistakes Cooper does.

Throwback to something worth repeating.

A screenshot of a tweet that says: Your art will betray you. It will look better in your head than on paper. It will make you feel untalented some days. Love it anyway. Because one day, it will also surprise you, fulfill you, and remind you why you started.

This is a real exciting story, and the culmination of over two years of work. I’m stupidly proud of it. If you like anything I do, take a look at Disparate Minds. As we go closer to the finale, now is certainly the time.

It’s not even like it’s a Lungbarrow either, like that’s one of the novelizations with the most reprints. The 50th edition, the Barnes and Noble special edition, etc. bizarre.

Yellow smokey rips, like light through the trees, run across black. On the black is faint, partially redacted text, and in the yellow rips is a glimpse of a street. This artwork has “Disparate Minds” written in white at the top, and “This Is The Intent Or, The Monkey Way” at the bottom.

The illustration for "With Love and Rage". A painting of a spired city in the distance, with an orange path leading between it and a hill, at the top of which two grey-robed figures stand, the one on the left looking at the city through a telescope. There are several other hills in the distance, and a bright blue sea is intruding at the edges of the page.

A white boat with its mainsail rolled up sits on the sea, seen through fog. Black text reads “Disparate Minds” and “Atoll”.

The illustration for "The Court of King Max". A young girl in a red hoodie with blonde hair looks up at a glowing crown, floating above her head. Behind her is a blue sky and some green vegetation.
