I was going to finish coloring the next set after dinner but I guess that's not an option. 😺

A photo. There are two things in my chair: a cushion and a stubborn cat (long haired brown tabby with white feet).

Behold the world's scantest preview of the first two pieces. 🍪 I might start doing them out of order after this. 🤔 Also might keep using the cookie emoji to represent chances to guess the OC in exchange for free art (prioritizing those with more cookies); we'll see! #WIP #art #oc #Oc-tober2026

A crop of two artworks side by side at a weird angle. Both are in a cartoon style (my Sanrio style) and rendered in black ink pen on marker paper & colored with alcohol markers.

The top shows part of a girl in a white dress on a swing with a picture book in her lap. (Prompt two: older or younger)

The bottom has a tiled border with moons, flowers and abstract shapes. The figure wears workout wear and sits next to a pink water bottle clutching a beat up iPod. (Prompt One: Favorite OC)

Both figures have pale skin and a hint of blond hair. If you can guess who they are, I'll give you a cookie (exchangeable for an artwork in this style).

I remembered this image that explains it and I could find it quickly because I searched for what it was describing using its own alt text

Hand-drawn infographic on a blue background titled “Why use alt text?” with six panels in a 2x3 grid, each showing a reason with a small sketched social media post:

Slow internet: alt text appears in place of unloaded images.
Findability: alt text helps search content, shown with a search for “dog with banana”.
Screen readers: alt text is read aloud by text-to-speech software, shown as a dark transcript describing a Pomeranian in a banana costume.
Translation: alt text can be translated, shown as English to German.
Readability: text in images can be made legible, shown as scribbled text read as “a character says ‘hello guys’”.
Disambiguation: descriptions clarify intent, shown with a post asking “Can my pet swim?” and an image of a bunny.

Hi, I’m a sighted alt text user! Here are some reasons I use it: - Slow Internet on an airplane - I’m over 40, I have no idea who that celebrity is - Bluesky broke images again - My vision sucks and that text is too small to read otherwise - Conveys further context and authorial intent

Andrey Surnov's concept work for Jusant in my brain again this morning. Can't think of a game set among ruins that made me more desperate to see more of its world. So few games manage such an original and rich aesthetic, so sad the team never got to make more.
