My Theodora squad is doing Fine(tm) in actual fights but I feel like more often than not I’m frowning at their levels and I worry it’s gonna catch up to them. I blame Lysander.

It is possible to beat Donkey Kong Country 2 completely pacifist using a combination of secrets and glitches, allowing no enemy or boss to be harmed. Ironically, getting the true ending destroys Crocodile Isle, killing everyone on it anyway.

How to beat Donkey Kong Country 2 the pacifist way
Most enemies in the game can be spared via damage boosting through them or skipped via team-up throws or Dixie's twirl. However, some bonus rooms require all enemies inside to be defeated. These can be avoided by using the secret that gives 75 Kremkoins*, allowing all bonus rooms to be skipped.
*In the first level, enter the cabin, exit immediately. Collect the first banana bunch but not anything else. Return to the cabin, collect the balloon, Exit, collect the bunch again, but nothing else. Return, and it will contain a coin that gives you 75 Kremkoins.
To skip bosses, get a glitch called "Bonus Storage" by pausing and exiting while failing a bonus. After this, use "Funky Skip" (get near the boss, hold L+Select, then tap Right, Left, Up, Down, Right, Left. Hold Up, press B, let go of Up and B, and press Down) which will put you on the world map. Reenter the world, then visit any NPC, and if done correctly, you will be put on the world map again but with the next world unlocked without fighting the boss.
After beating all the Lost World levels (requires only getting to the beginning of K. Rool's Keep and the 75 Kremkoins) the final battle is unlocked. In this battle, the player needs to enter it, then die, and finally do another Funky Skip to enter the True Ending credits instantly, without harming K. Rool.
In an exquisite case of irony, the True Ending cutscene shows Crocodile Isle being blown up and sinking into the sea, presumably killing everyone on it (save for K. Rool, who escapes on a boat).
It seems all the pacifism was for nothing in the end.

"It's so easy to laugh, it's so easy to hate, it takes guts to be gentle and kind" from I Know It's Over is a lyric I like a lot but can only take seriously in covers not sung by someone as committed to hate as Morrissey.

Post War of Grania #art #fireemblem #fefw

A drawing of the Saramis trio; Bonaventure, Theodora, & Tobias from Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.

Fun "what if" exploring the dynamic of the three before the storyline of the game.

Tobias (age 29), holds a six-year-old Theodora in one arm, gestures with his other hand, "Hey Boss! Let's blow this joint & hit the tavern!"

"Okay!" Theodora chirps excitedly.

"ABSOUTELY NOT." Bonaventure (age 33) immediately shuts down the idea of Tobias taking the princess, much less a child, to a tavern.

A drawing of a younger Kumos & Theodora from Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.

Fun "what if" depicting an event from before the game's storyline. A six year old Theodora being quite upset over being stopped from joining the War of Grania and being forced to stay with Kumos at the palace.

A drawing of Theodora (Age 6) & Bonaventure (Age 33) from Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.

Fun "what if" depicting an event from before the game's storyline. The young Theodora jumping to embrace Bonaventure around the neck. He is somewhat taken aback by her actions.

I personally headcanon that Bonventure lost his eye in the War of Grania. The idea of Theodora having to internalize the cost of war at such a young age shaped her into the strong leader that puts the betterment of her people first. Mmm it makes good characterization.

Bonaventure’s got more defense than Tobias something’s up there. Toby’s still one shotting with his passive but that def growth needs to kick in already. Meanwhile Lysander is a BUM, who invited him? “This isn’t usual for me” buddy this is your FOURTH 2-STAT LEVEL.

Zarcone is an early freebie for Theodora so maybe I can make something of him this time. I think being able to recruit the early game asshole FE bandit is hilarious, so I admit I have a soft spot for him. It’s like those old FE7 fan hacks where Batta the Beast and Glass are playable.

Just an FYI for folks, automation for bug tracking and testing has been a thing since at least when I started in AAA in 2016, so it pre-dates genAI quite a bit. I'm still in a wait-and-see for Capcom, but people being confused about old tech vs genAI is what the current techbros want.
