After a solid month of work, this is finally complete! I don't often take sponsored content but this was an exciting chance to speak with some legendary talent and showcase elements of its development! Give it a look!

This was excellent, John. Well worth your time and effort, I'd say! This game is just fantastic so far, and like you said, exactly what we've been hoping for for years now, as fans of SWE1: Racer.

Aw yeah it's back to 1996 on LGR youtu.be/o0wDkCp3Eu4 Checking out the graphics card Sierra On-Line ever sold: the Screamin' 3D! That alone makes it a notable oddity, but it's also a Rendition Verite V1000, which can provide some awesome results!...and a slew of shortcomings and mid-90s quirkiness

First impressions of Star Wars: Galactic Racer are positive! The way they did the tutorial was pretty slick, and the presentation is excellent. The gloves come off quick though! Don't expect to win a lot of races your first time through the tour! Performance-wise.... Yep, it's a UE5 game.

30 years ago today, the Nintendo 64 was officially released in North America. However, some retailers began selling the console 3 days prior without Nintendo's permission. This combined with high customer demand made Nintendo authorize retailers to sell the console early.

I love this. I'm not even a Tandy user, but this faithful recreation of the mail-order VHS tutorial aesthetic by @tjbchris.bsky.social is perfection, and it's just pure joy to watch. youtu.be/K6McY24179Q

Something I think about sometimes.. A 20 year old today went from Gears of War to GTA 6 in their entire lifetime. When I was 20 years old, we went from the literal advent of the VGA standard (87), to Crysis (07). It's just harder for a young person to appreciate the graphical progress we've made.

I picked this on the cheap, a game that seems more tailored for the Dreamcast, but somehow got a port to previous gen consoles. Of course the N64 version resembles the original the most, and commendably so, making it a little more interesting than it otherwise would have been.

This is inhumane and unacceptable. And how were these workers thanked for enduring these conditions? Many were laid off. This is why we're organizing. A better industry is both possible and must come to pass if our artform and dignity are to survive.

Yeah I think that’s where I draw the line too. The generative stuff. As an analysis tool, it's really powerful. And hallucinations have gone down dramatically over time, while accuracy keeps improving (with more citations). So there's real potential as a research tool.

It's conflicting for me. I just can't bring myself to completely hate the technology, or dismiss it as valueless. On the other hand there are so many drawbacks to it, I'm reticent to use it extensively. I think in the future there will be balance, especially regarding environmental impact.

I revamped my main PC's cooling today, replacing a quickly dilapidating four-year-old AIO with a Corsair Nautilus 360 RS LCD, and six new reverse-blade 120mm Thermalright fans. CPU temps and noise dropped dramatically!
A desktop PC housed in a Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL, with six visible 120mm ARGB fans, three black ones lined up vertically on the right side, and three white ones along the bottom. The LEDs of the fans are a teal color. A white graphics card with a rainbow RGB effect is also shown. An AIO water pump on the CPU has a screen displaying the current CPU temperature.
