Haven’t had the best start to the week but Moonlight Peaks has been the perfect cosy game to zone out with.

Looks like the Sony PR team has begun its consent manufacturing operation among the media in the past 24 hours. I wonder how many other gaming outlets and influencers this week will also happen to put up posts/articles/videos declaring that eliminating physical media from consoles is good, actually?

Tweet from the official Gizmodo account posted 16 hours ago linking to an article with the headline “Game Discs Deserve to Die.” The accompanying photo is that of a hand with painted fingernails placing a silver-bottomed disc into a PlayStation 5.

Tweet from the official Polygon account posted 23 hours ago stating “I won’t mourn Playstation discs” with a link to a self-styled “spicy takes” op-ed column. The accompanying photo is of a PlayStation 4 ejecting a copy of 2013’s Killzone Shadow Fall, the first PS4 title to sell over one million copies whose servers were nevertheless shut down in 2022 such that all you can do with a copy these days is play its lackluster single player campaign.

Hahahhah Veilguard was the most tame in terms of romance out of all of the series 😆

Knight Of Cups #art | #ocart

An illustration in a tarot like style showing a dhampir (half vampire) holding a golden goblet to the viewer. His other hand is placed on his chest with red rose petals seeming to flow from put his chest. Around his head is a half halo of swords. In front of him are heraldic shapes in which each lies a small illustration; from left to right they show a sword hilt, a lily and a butterfly. Behind the man on the left is a nightly atmospheric castle and to the left is a floral ornamental pattern at which the very top rests a white dove. The whole painting is in a dream like blue, yellow and green hue with the mans skin being in purple undertones. The red on the roses and overflowing goblet serve as accents.

After the disappointment that was TROS I went into the Mandalorian and Grogu movie with zero expectations. It’s a fun movie but it absolutely could have been a miniseries. It doesn’t try to do anything new.

Sometimes you just have to take your life size Grogu out for a photoshoot in the forest.

Hi! Sometimes I remember to come on here and post something. I’ve been searching for something new to play after Cyberpunk but nothing new was really catching my attention. So I’ve been replaying Fire Emblem Awakening on 3DS. It’s been years since I replayed and I’m having so much fun!

Thank you! I used an artist manikin and covered it in air dry clay to get the body shape I wanted. You could skip that though and just shape the head. I used worbla to make the hook arms. Then you just gotta paint and I melted a couple of tea lights to use for the wax in the head :)

Happy Dragon Age Day! A few weeks ago while I was on leave I finally finished my making my candlehop. As soon as I saw these little guys in Veilguard I was obsessed. There’s a few tiny details I’d change if I made another but overall I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

As some of you are aware, part of Dragon Age day was to thank the DA Devs for all the hard work they put into the series we love so much. This is also the first DA Day where we have no DA team, as they were laid off earlier this year. So let's make an effort to support their new projects!🧵

Oh!! It's my birthday!! I would be so appreciative if you could share my work. I still have openings this year if anyone would like to reach out!

Illustration of the fellowship from the Fourth Age actual play. They are at a high altitude looking down into a valley with a river. From left: Theodas (bald elf, many scars, dark beard, golden interlocking armor, dull blue cape); Iairen (elf, medium brown skin, kinky brown hair with undercut and half up style, blue robes, holding a blue palantir); Mistiel (elf with dark brown skin, copper cape, long white box braids half up, golden armour); Eona (human, dark brown long hair with golden scales woven through, leathers and cape, holding a sword); Chicory (hobbit-elfish, lilac dress, pale skin, brown hair in loose waves, holding a wooden staff that crooks over and holds a glowing white stone); Aerlind (elf, dark hair, blue fine outfit, tanned skin, east asian features, holds an astrolabe in one hand).

An alabaster gargoyle and a feminine figure dressed in black robes with their faces shadowed by hoods. The pair are within a gothic styled church, standing before an altar on a dais, preaching to spectators behind the POV. Candles cast plenty of light in the room despite the flames being purple, and all the decorations and the architecture is gothic in design. They look as though they are in the middle of performing a sermon in unison

Illustration of Dawes 'Rook' Mercar (human, olive skin, short dark hair, blue outfit, green eyes) and Lace Harding (dwarven woman, freckled, pale skin, red hair, leather pants and white shirt). The pair are painted in a pink tint, and the background is barren and monochromatic. They are clutching each other and staring defiantly to the right of the composition.

Illustration of a drow standing in front of a large white snake with wings. The drow has long white hair and dark green clothing with copper accents. He holds a dagger above his head with blue magic arcing between the blade and his hand. They are in the Underdark, with blue spores and mushrooms surrounding them.

But DA isn't dead. There's fic. There's art. There's the connections we made through the games and because of the games. Technically EA/BioWare owns the IP but you can't own an idea, no matter how much they want to. DA isn't dead because it's yours now.
