I don't feel like FW is very much a 'resource management' game like others, because I have so much gold and resources that in combat, the only thing I'm managing is HP. Time feels open ended because you can get all these characters and invest in unit-growth. These games specialise in the latter.

Raquel also has a further gameplay benefit besides a fun story beat. By being so strong, and unable to kill, she chips down foes greatly, allowing your weaker allies to get easy kills and lots of xp. She even gets rid of her own restriction towards the end by herself because the stakes are too high

If Peter had some sort of active debuff, I would be compelled to use him, but instead he is two different guys, and they'll probably solve it in a later part but it doesnt change the fact i need to listen to this guy complain and whine in every conversation because that's all he does in Cai's route.

Meet Raquel, a master archer who doesn't like to kill. Runan convinces her to join by saying he's fine with her not doing that, she'd be valuable regardless. She comes with a hidden mercy skill which makes it impossible for her to kill- unless Luca, her younger brother, is killed.

they should make him take a hit in str or dex in combat against human enemies, just fuck him up, he should not be two different characters, he should have magic proficiency in order to encourage making him a non-combat class instead, literally anything for cohesion. TearRing Saga solved this on ps1
