Just saw the Wumpus gore posting for the first time and, like, I get it, good on them. But also I feel like if you're still using Discord, that's on you. I have intermittent moments of thinking of using it, and even reinstalled it the once, but every time I do I just get annoyed and move on.

All the celebratory media relevant to the 45th anniversary of Wizardry does quietly sorta bum me out. Wizardry is, as a series, a collection of settings, and an IP, so incredibly special and deserving of so much more than some wack-ass gacha mobage and ports of older titles.

In direct opposition to how I approach game criticism in nearly every single genre, I often have this feeling that folks who review 4X titles get far too invested in gritty details like balance and can miss out on the grander picture that the genre can paint.

Played about five and a half hours of the Wo Long 2 demo. Definite improvement over the first, with more options where they matter and existing systems made much cleaner. Still not crazy about the title at all, but I'm contractually obligated to at least try all Team Ninja titles as I'm a pro shill.

Spent an hour and a half doing Zohar's trials in UNI2. May be the first time I've ever actually completed a character's combo trials in any of these games, so either she's very fucking simple and easy, or I'm simply Duilt Bifferent™
