A week ago I was saying goodbye to Japan. Went there to turn 40 on a solo YOLO adventure. Not my first time, and if I have any say in it, not my last, but damn what a wonderful place and a fantastic trip I’ll always remember.

Liquid Glass is so weird. “Reduce Transparency” just turns it off, and “increase contrast” reduces transparency but puts borders around everything. Instead, I’ve just resigned myself to being unable to easily read my notifications. It’s pretty for sure, but what a weird usability whiff by Apple.

I charged it to 100% at 1PM, and when I put it back on the charger at 1AM, it had 40% left. Just my standard usage (not heavy, sort of casual).
