Great day out riding the Voie Vert from Saint Gervais les Bains to Geneva to watch the Femmes #Tdff Didn’t even try to take a photo of the actual sprint, so there’s a photo of the first gruppetto instead.

Information board for the VoieVerte. It’s in French, so I’m not going to try and translate it. The cycling and walking route runs from Chamonix to Geneva and is almost entirely traffic free

Much needed beer and a side of the best combination in the world: chocolate ice cream and raspberry sorbet.

As we write in the book, we need less focus on adults who scream "I've lived in the city for the last 50 years and don't need bike lanes" and more focus on kids who say "I am going to live in the city for the *next* 50 years and want to be able to get around safely."

Nothing like answering my new French phone for proving how much I don’t, in fact, speak French 😆 In person with context I’m ok but having to deal with phone calls to set up a gas and electric supply is well, difficult. So thankful for today’s caller, who actually spoke slower when I asked them to!

Caught up on all the cyclocross. My ranking for the entertainment value of the races: 1: MJ =2: WE, WJ 4: WU 5: MU 6: ME While watching Tibor and Mathieu was unquestionably super impressive impressive, Junior and women’s racing is just closer and more unpredictable.
