I had too much fun in class today! Student end-of-term projects were pretty awesome 1. A board game on Strongyloides 2. A dateline-type show on scabies 3. Podcast with 4 episodes and website on lyme disease 4. a children book on tularemia 5. explainer video on prions It was awesome!!!

We have a guest tonight - Found a lost dog (no collar, not neutered) in our neighborhood. Sheltering him for the night; I feel so bad we can't afford to keep him (Ziggy and Bilbo are already very demanding.) It makes me sad to have to surrender him tomorrow.

I always have fun including the mascot of the school I am giving a talk at because they are usually warm-blooded animals, thus can be infected with Toxoplasma. Today will be an exception: the mascot is a SHARK!

Love it! We're going to this unincorporated town called Pine Mountain Club in CA! I am nervous about the bears (we're bringing the dogs...), but the idea of being in a quiet place in nature supersedes the fear.
