I kind of want Fire Emblem to get the Dragon Quest 11 treatment where you can toggle in retro styled graphics. I see they mock up classic sprites for the save file, why not a GBA approximation of what's going on in the battles? I think that would be neat.

Think I’m gonna stop tracking the games I’m “playing” on my backloggd. There’s this weird sense of pressure attached to it, like I have to finish those games before I can start new ones, and the feeling gets worse when they just sit there for months. Screw that. I’ll play what I want when I want.

That being said I know that even the tiniest changes are going to bug the hell out of me now that we know they're being more faithful than not. I already noticed the absence of the jingle after you play an Ocarina song, and Darunia doesn't knock Link on his ass anymore. 0/10 (jk but also come on)

I was personally hoping for a less faithful remake since we kinda already got one with OOT 3D, but this is fine too. I like that they're changing a few things at least, like adding new dialogue after certain story events. If Master Quest returns that would be dope.

Really tho I like the style overall, think it's very fantastical and whimsical. Main gripe is how over-designed Link's tunic is, makes him stick out compared to the NPCs. Also Zelda's expression did not match her voice direction at all in that one scene in the courtyard, felt really uncanny.

27. 007 First Light Went on for about an hour or two longer than needed I feel, but First Light satisfied my craving for another Uncharted-esque cinematic action game well enough, with cool problem solving mechanics to set it apart. Hope there’s a sequel.

26. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice The best part about this game was going up to a boss and thinking “this is fucking impossible,” then defeating them hitless after many failures, gradually improving after every death. Same can be said about other FromSoft games, but Sekiro is on another level. 10/10.
