Saw Resident Evil last night. Lacking in lore, no familiar characters? Sure but the tension and scare factor, and it captures the essence of the GAMEPLAY perfectly. I get why someone wouldn't like the ending.

If I did have to give review scores, I think 5 points is preferable to a 10 point rating system. It's just simpler to categorize. 1 - Terrible 2 - Bad 3 - Average/Fine 4 - Good 5 - Amazing

Oh this is unexpected. Mega Man X Command Mission has been re-released on the PS4/PS5, for around 10-15 bucks. If you've never heard of it, it's not a 2D platformer like all the other Mega Man games, this is a turn based RPG. Like Final Fantasy! So that's fun.

And in case you haven't heard, Mega Man has officially hit Fortnite. You can buy skins of Mega Man, X and Zero, as well as Rush for a sidekick. I think Rock looks a lot better in game than he did in the reveal trailer. Even if he is a very tall boy.

And of course, we finally got Proto Man gameplay. I like the implication that he doesn't get powers the way Rock does, instead he seems to get unique shield attacks. Makes him more similar to Zero in that way. Still uses all the same chips and abilities that Mega Man does though! Fun stuff.

A whole bunch of Achievements got leaked and with it comes a multitude of spoilers. Kingdom Hearts worlds, Robot Masters in Mega Man, new content in Persona 4 Revival, even new games too! So watch out because gossip-y people might ruin your day. Fascinating that they're logged so early though.

The only thing I think looks weird about Ocarina Remake are the faces. They wanted it to be reflective of the N64 graphics but it looks uncanny with a realistic art style. But the environments? I have no unreal engine snark, that looks great. The internet's poisoned some people's whimsy. 🤷‍♂️

One neat thing about Soul Calibur was that every single fighter got their own exhibition feature. A demo to show off their proficiency with their weapons, all recorded by real martial artists doing badass mocap. Kilik's was the best.

By the way if you're enjoying Star Wars Zero Company or X-COM, I gotta remind people about Marvel's Midnight Suns. This was a turn based strategy game in the Marvel universe. You play a customizable hero named Hunter, & get to have hours and hours of dialogue with Spider-Man/Blade etc. T'was fun!

In Castlevania 64 you can get bitten by a vampire and develop vampirism. If you don't cure yourself in a set amount of time, you fully transition and get a game over. I always tried waiting in front of the screen when it happened as a kid, cuz I wanted to see their scary vampire faces.
