meet my favourite grey hair. short, sguiggly and easiest to spot in the mirror. a gift from recent massacre.

mane growth, it's also properly hydrated now. to think i had almost chopped it off.

so many words. peep an ongoing concept page.

redesign sketches featuring my character marlow. scattered layout, i like to call this "visual brainstorming". only one of these concept has made the cut so far. marlow is a bold jumping spider. there's four outlines of her face in the middle of the canvas - three are facing the side, one has some hair up in a low bun. a scene thumbnail on top-right has her with her tachinid fly friend named doe. thumbnail is value-graded in greyscale and shows them looming over the camera in a forest. the sun glimmers from behind doe. halfbody rough render of marlow to the left has a colour palette suggestion at test with her main body in dark brown, limbs in pale pink. bristle claws, mandibles and eyes in green although with bright pink pupils. graphic pattern on her left thigh shows a group of birds in flight. the colours i used for this are in patches positioned above marlow's head. picture is a cropped screenshot off my mobile drawing app, ibispaint.
